On 15 November 2002 Consul General Nitirooge Phoneprasert visited Kristu Jayanti College (KJC) , Bengaluru, and gave a remark at “BS Insight Talks”in the topic of 75 years of the diplomatic relations between Thailand and India.
 
On this ococasion, the Consul General had interactive discussions with faculty members and students in various topics on the bilateral relations between Thailand and India such as trade, investment, security, education, religion and culture, as well as socio-economic development. 
 
Moreover, Fr. Dr. Augustine George , Principal of KJC and other faculty members, brought the Consul General on a campus tour. Both sides also discussed the possibility of seeking educational cooperation between the KJC and academic insitutions in Thailand to promote faculty and student exchanges, and career development for students.
