On 21 July 2022 Consul General Nitirooge Phoneprasert along with the trade delegation from the Southern India Chamber of Commerce (SICCI), members of Tamil Nadu Start-up and Innovation Mission (TANSIM) and MSME Trade and Investment Promotion Bureau (M-TIPB) visited the Future Mobility Asia and the Future Energy Asia exhibitions co-hosted by Thailand's Ministry of Energy and PTT at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangkok.

The event brought together more than 10,000 energy and mobility professionals from over 50 countries and provided a platform for companies to showcase their products and solutions, engage in impactful dialogues, and network with others who support a shift towards cleaner, sustainable energy and mobility pathway. There were 10 companies from India showcasing at this event, including ePlane, an IIT-Madras incubated "flying taxi" startup from Chennai, which is betting on eradicating traffic by building electric planes for short-range intra-city commute. ePlan planned to have the cargo carrier rolled out by February 2023, while the passenger version was expected by December 2024.

While Future Energy Asia gathered top-level stakeholders in the gas, LNG, and renewables sectors, Future Mobility Asia provided the delegation with the opportunity to exchange ideas with OEMs, aftermarket suppliers, battery providers, energy storage providers, charging infrastructure providers, and technology providers.
