Consul General Nitirooge Phoneprasert and the trade delegation from Telangana Government and the private sectors from Telangana and Tamil Nadu, India, attended the Opening Ceremony of THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2022 chaired by H.E. Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit,  Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce of the Royal Thai Government.

On 25 May 2022 Consul General Nitirooge Phoneprasert and the trade delegation from Telangana Government and the private sectors from Telangana and Tamil Nadu, India, attended the Opening Ceremony of THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2022 chaired by H.E. Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit,  Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce of the Royal Thai Government, at IMPACT Challenger Hall 2, Muang Thong Thani. 
 
THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2022 is Asia’s largest and most comprehensive food and beverage trade fair to showcase Thailand as a world food hub. On this occasion, the Indian trade delegation visited the fair's exhibitions that display all types of high-quality Thai products including food products, seafood, frozen food, rice, vegetables, fruits, snacks, beverages, as well as various services related to the food and beverage sector. 
 
Additionally, Consul General along with the Indian trade delegation paid a courtesy call on Mr. Phusit Ratanakul Sereroengrit, Director- General of the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, on the margin of the THAIFEX-ANUGA ASIA 2022. Both sides agreed to strengthen the bilateral trade and investment relations between Thailand and the Telangana state following the singining of the MoU between the Thai Ministry of Commerce and the Telangana's Department of Industries and Commerce on 11 April 2022.
